Orly Matte Topcoat

If you've read my blog before, you'll know I love doing my nails. OPI is probably my favourite brand of polishes and I own well over 60 of their products. Right now though, I've really been loving the idea of having matte nails but don't actually own any matte nail polishes. Considering how much money I'd spent on nail polishes already, I wasn't really feeling like going out and buying all my favourite colours in matte. That's why I was really excited to find out that this product existed for the cost of it. Orly is a brand I'd never actually heard of before until I found this product and it's very affordable. I've heard quite a few mixed reviews on this but I honestly do like it.

On the back of this product, it states that this should be used as a top coat over other Orly nail polishes. With this being said, I bought it and thought I'd try it over my OPI ones anyway. I have seen a few people saying that they've used this over other branded nail polishes, such as Essie, and it hasn't worked for them. I'm not sure why though, as I've used this over my OPI polishes and it's worked amazingly.

I've found this works great for me as a top coat. Only one coat of this leaves my nails with a gorgeous matte finish that looks like the polish itself was matte. I've only used this over OPI polishes but I've yet to use it when it hasn't worked. It not only helps the colour to last longer on my nails, but helps to prevent them from chipping as well which I think is great. Below is a picture of my nail polish applied before I used the matte top coat and I'm wearing the OPI shade Over The Taupe. I'm not a nail expert, so the polish isn't applied perfectly - sorry.

The picture below is my nails after the matte top coat has been applied. I've found that this looks great and I'm really happy with the way the finished product looks. I feel that it leaves my nails looking very professional and clean, and I really love how quick and easy it is to use. It dries very quick which is a massive plus to me, as we can all agree that waiting for your nails to dry can be such a pain.

I overall really like this product, and it always leaves my nails with a gorgeous matte finish - exactly what it's designed to do. I'm unsure if it works with other nail brands other than OPI as I've never tried, so I can't say how it would work for you if you tried to. I would recommend this product though if you're looking for an affordable matte top coat, especially if you use OPI.

Let me know if you've used this product and if it's worked well for you. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a great day!

See you guys soon x

Product Empties

I've been collecting all my product empties for quite a while, so this post has been a long time coming. I try so hard to get the most out of my products and hate throwing things away - call me a hoarder - but I'm finally parting ways with these. They are some of the products I've used up in the past 2-3 months, and I have to say, I've really loved them.

Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream - If you've read my Soap & Glory favourites post, you'll know I absolutely love their Hand Food hand cream and planned on including it in that post. I honestly feel like I go through one of these every month or so because I apply it so often. I find myself with dry and chapped hands quite a lot, so end up grabbing this constantly. It's definitely one of my favourite hands creams I own as I really love the scent of it. It's so moisturising and always leaves my hands feeling so smooth and soft afterwards.

No7 Essential Moisture Day Cream - No7 is a brand I've had a bit of a love hate relationship with. Some of their products I've loved and always repurchase, while others I've really disliked. This is one of the ones I've loved. This moisturiser is so soft and smooth on the skin and is the first moisturiser I found that was this hydrating, which is great for my very dry skin. I find this tub goes a really long way and it lasts me a really long time. It's also really light so is great for spring and summer time. I've repurchased this quite a few times now, and as much as I love it, I'm now using my Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream as my daily morning moisturiser.

Urban Decay de-slick Makeup Setting Spray - I already featured this product in my Current Favourites here and it has been such a lifesaver for me. It always keeps my makeup perfectly in place, no matter where or what I'm doing, and is definitely a product I'll be repurchasing soon. I love how quick and easy this is to use, and how quickly it dries. It doesn't leave my face feeling wet or sticky which other setting sprays have done. This product has fast become one of my favourites of 2016 so far.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream - I featured this product in my Soap & Glory favourites here and it's one of my favourite body creams I own. It smells absolutely amazing and feels so smooth and soft on the skin. It applies so easily onto the skin and I find this absorbs very quickly, unlike some of my other body creams and lotions. This is definitely one of my favourite body creams and Soap & Glory products and I'll never not repurchase this.

Benefit They're Real Mascara - I decided to try this mascara out after hearing so many good reviews on it from so many people. I have to say, I do really like this mascara. I love really dark ones that leave your lashes very full and elongated, and this is definitely one of those. I got on really well with this and found my lashes looking beautiful and very full. My only issue is I found it didn't last as long as I would've liked it to for the price of it. I have repurchased this product as I really enjoy trying out new mascaras, so I haven't used it for a while now.

Maybelline Colossal Go Chaotic Mascara - I don't normally buy high street mascaras, after one I'd used previously left my eyes in a bit of a state, but I decided to pick up this one in my local Boots as I wanted something that was affordable. I did really like this product, as it did exactly what I look for in a mascara - it was volumising and left my lashes looking full. The only thing I didn't like is that it worked really well for the first few weeks, but then the quality declined. By the third or fourth week, it didn't leave my lashes looking as good as it did for the first few times which was disappointing.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NW15 - I went through a phase of really loving MAC foundations and this product was one of them. For quite a while, this was my daily foundation and I really enjoyed using it. The shade matched my skin tone perfectly and I loved the fuller coverage it gave me. It did verge on feeling a bit cakey but it hid all my flaws and spots really well which I was very happy about. I haven't repurchased this as I'm really loving the Nars Sheer Glow foundation right now, but it is one of my favourite MAC foundations.

Overall, I've really enjoyed using all these products and that's shown by the fact I fully finished every one of them. Let me know if you've used any of the products I've mentioned and what your opinions on them are. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Sleek Makeup Haul

Sleek is a makeup brand I was only introduced to earlier this year. I picked up their face contour kit and really enjoyed it, yet never repurchased anything from them after this and I'm not sure why. Then, on a recent trip to my local Boots, I decided it was time to give this brand another try. They had a 3 for 2 offer on their products which just tipped me over the edge and I ended up picking up a few things.

i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in A New Day - I'm such a sucker for eyeshadow palettes, but most of the ones I own are more high end. That's why, when I seen how affordable the Sleek palettes are, I knew I had to pick one up. I decided to choose A New Day as the colours were shades I had been looking for recently and they all looked beautiful. I have been absolutely loving this palette since I got it and have been wearing it most days since. I've tried every single one of the shades so far and not one of them has disappointed me. Some shades are matte while others are shimmer which is what I love in a palette as it gives you some versatility and range. My favourite shades right now from this palette are  Brightside, Carpe Diem and Believer but I honestly do love them all. For the price, this product is really good quality and the shadows last me all day which I'm happily surprised about. The only thing is that it comes with that cheap eyeshadow brush, which was quickly thrown away. But I overall really love this palette and the price of it makes me love it even more.

Matte Me Lip Cream in Petal - I'm normally terrified of light pink shades of lipstick, but after wearing my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Sydney to absolute death, I feel like I conquered that fear. That's why I decided to pick up this beautiful light pink shade. I've seen these Matte Me lipsticks around the beauty blogging world for quite a while and have seen so many people really enjoying them. That's why I knew I had to pick one up when I seen them. I first of all have to say this shade is absolutely beautiful. It's something I never thought I'd ever wear but I really love it. The consistency and feel of these lip creams is amazing and does not feel drying on your lips at all, which I know is the fear when wearing products like this. They last all day, and I even find myself having to scrub it off at night as it's that long lasting. I absolutely love this product and I'm definitely going to be picking it up in some other shades soon.

Power Plump Lip Crayon in Power Pink - When I seen this product at the Sleek counter, I was really intrigued by the idea of it. The purpose of it is that it's a very pigmented lip crayon that plumps up your lips and leaves it with a tingling feeling. I didn't know that it left your lips feeling tingley when I bought it though, as this is something I've really disliked about it. The fact that it plumps up your lips was something I found quite exciting, and that's the reason I bought it. The colour of the crayon is really lovely as it's a light fuchsia shade that I don't own anything like. I also like lip crayons as they're very easy to apply and feel very soft on your lips. I do wish I liked this product, I really do, but to be honest I don't. The tingling feeling on your lips is very strong and doesn't go away quickly, so I ended up having to scrub it off my lips after 15 minutes. It wasn't a very nice feeling and I can't imagine myself willing wearing this often, unless I really wanted plumper lips. I can't even comment on if it does plump up your lips as I took it off too quickly.

Overall, Sleek is a brand that I'm really starting to like. For how affordable and high quality their products are, I can definitely see myself purchasing a lot more from them in the future. Let me know if you have any of the products I've mentioned or if you enjoy any of Sleeks other products. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a great day!

The Body Shop: Tea Tree Pore Minimiser

The Body Shop is a brand that I've loved for so long because of their amazing skincare ranges.  I absolutely love their body creams and have started trying out some of their newer products. One of the ranges I'd been dying to try for quite a while was their Tea Tree products. On my last trip to the store, I decided to pick up their pore minimiser as I'd never tried one before and the idea really of it appealed to me. I have been throughly enjoying using this product since I bought it, and it has really made me fall back in love with The Body Shop.

I first of all have to say how cute this packaging is with the leaf design. The bottle is really thin which is great for taking on holiday or for fitting in your makeup bag. Even with this being said, a little bit goes a long way with this product. It's suitable for blemished skin which is great, and it also smells amazing. I was really intrigued by this product, as I have a lot of trouble with my pores and this seemed perfect for minimising their appearance. I also really like how it's affordable and doesn't break the bank, and I picked this one up in a 3 for 2 deal.

I have genuinely loved this product since I started using it and have seen such a big difference in my skin. My pores are definitely looking smaller which I'm very happy about, and it leaves my face feeling so smooth and soft. It also mattifies and can be used as a primer which is a massive bonus for me, as I love mattifying primers and this can act as one. My skin has been visibly clearer after using this and I would definitely recommend using this if you have oily or acne-prone skin. I normally use this after I apply my moisturiser and before my makeup, but it can easily be applied on its own. Everyone I have spoke to who has used this product has loved it and I'm yet to find one negative comment about it. This is definitely something I can see myself repurchasing in the future and it's fast became a part of my daily skincare routine.

I would really recommend buying this if you struggle with large pores, have oily skin for its mattifying properties, or have acne-prone skin. I have been loving using this product and have seen such a big difference in my skin since I started using it. It's also made me really want to purchase some of the other products in The Body Shops Tea Tree Range.

Let me know if you've tried this pore minimiser and what your opinions on it are. Also let me know if you've tried any of the other products in the Tea Tree range. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you have a great day!

19 Things I've Learnt by 19

I turned 19 back in May, and even though it may seem like an unimportant age to most people, it was a big deal to me. I was no longer 18 but not yet in my twenties, and it was the start of my last year as a teenager. I love being a teenager, and the idea of getting older and being a 'proper adult' really does scare me. I feel like I've learnt so much about myself and life in the past few years, especially over the past year with starting University, so I thought todays post could be the 19 things I've learnt by the age of 19.

1. To do want you want to do, wear what you want to wear, say what you want to say, and don't care what others think about it or if it's 'unfashionable'.
2. To try and push yourself to do the things you really want to do, even though it might make you feel anxious.
3. To try and stay in contact with the people who really make you happy, even if they don't live near you.
4. And remove the people from your life who bring you down.
5. That you shouldn't take yourself - or life - too seriously.
6. That if you find something you love and are really passionate about, don't give it up, no matter what other people might say.
7. That if you're going through a tough time, think to yourself "will this matter in a years time?" If not, it's not something to worry yourself about.
8. To always speak up for yourself.
9. To spend time with your family members - you never know when they could be gone.
10. To always take time for yourself.
11. That you shouln't be afraid to say "Hi" to the person next to you on your first day of Uni/College/Work.
12. To not be afraid to say "no thanks" to something you don't want to do, just to save someones feelings.
13. That not everyone has the same heart as you - others may not do for you as you do for them.
14. That you aren't weak if you ask for help.
15. That everyone has their down days - it's completely normal.
16. To always go with your instincts.
17. That life's too short not to eat your favourite foods.
18. To not live your life with regrets - just move on.
19. That life's too short not to have a bit of fun!

There's plently of more things I've learned in my 19 years of life so far, but therese are the ones I've found to be the most important. Let me know what life lessons you've learned, or if you agree with any of the ones I've mentioned. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a great day!

Free Product: Benefit Gimme Brow

Yes, I've bought another magazine just for the free product - it's become a habit. Now this one is a really talked about free product, as Benefit is a well known and well respected beauty brand right now and everyone is so excited about their brow range. The August issue of Glamour magazine contains a sample sized version of their Gimme Brow product which I have been really excited to try out. I'm not one for using a lot of products on my brows or using anything too difficult - I'm a bit of a brow amateur to be honest. That's why this particular product stood out to me as it looked easy to use, and didn't look like too much on the brows.

This magazine only cost me £2 which I think is such a bargain for a magazine. The full size version of Gimme Brow is 3g and would cost you £18.50. The sample size you get with the magazine is 1g, so would therefore be worth just over £6. Considering the magazine only costs you £2, you're therefore saving around £4 which is a great saving and definitely worth the purchase if you're considering buying this product.

I first off want to say how cool this packaging looks. I love how the product itself slightly looks like a pencil and the design on the box is just the cutest. I've found Benefit always do the coolest packing for their products. The sample itself is quite small so I wouldn't say you'd get too many uses out of it, but I'm not complaining considering the price you pay for it. It's a volumising gel with an easy to use brush, which is tapered and precise for shaping. I don't normally use a gel on my brows but I was excited to give this one a try.

As a product, Gimme Brows is really good. It's so quick and easy to use, and definitely does what it intends to - my brows looked much thicker after I used this. I already have quite thick brows, but I think this would be great to add volume if you had smaller and thinner eyebrows. I do have to say it's very long lasting, and I found it stayed on for me all day which I was really happy about. It also tints your brows which is a great idea. My only problem is that this sample came in the shade light which is too light for my brows. As it give your brows a slight tint it looked fine, but I think this would work much better for me in the shade deep.

I really enjoyed using this product and found it added fullness to my brows. As much as this is true, I feel like I enjoy using a pencil more than a gel. As I'm not a know-it-all with doing my brows, I feel like using a pencil is much simpler for me for adding length, even though Gimme Brows is very easy to use. For a sample product, this is such great value for money and I'm really happy I tried it out before buying the full size version.

Let me know if you've tried out Gimme Brows or any of the other products in the Benefit brow range. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a great day!

My Top High Street Makeup Picks

Now I'm definitely one for finding a bargain and an amazing product that's affordable. As much as I love my high end products, there are some high street products I've really been loving at the moment. All of these products are under £10 which I'm loving, and are all actually really great quality.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer - I've been using this concealer daily for the past few months and I absolutely love it. I have really problematic skin so find myself applying quite a lot of concealer, so always try to find one that's more affordable. I love the full coverage this product gives me as that's really what I look for in a concealer. I use this in the shade Ivory, which is the lightest shade available, and I find this to match my skin tone so perfectly. It's great for hiding any blemishes or covering dark circles, and really does what the name suggests - it really wakes you up.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Mattifying Primer - Now I already posted my review of this product in a blog post here and I had very few negative things to say about it. It works great as a primer and leaves my face smooth and shine free. My makeup lasts all day and the finished look always ends up great due to this product. I love how well this works for how affordable it is, and I've been using it more and more since I posted my review.

Sleek Makeup Face Contour Kit - I bought this powder contour kit quite a while back, and it was the first product I'd ever bought from Sleek. I was looking for an easy-to-use contour kit, and that's exactly what this is. I really love the highlighter feautured in this kit and have been wearing it quite a lot recently. I had completely forgot I had this and it had fell to the bottom of my makeup bag, so when I was on the lookout for a good powdered highlighter, I was happily suprised to rediscover this. You don't need a lot of the powder to make an impact, and your face is glowing all day. I don't use the bronzer in this kit often though, but I overall really love this product.

Seventeen High Drama Liquid Eyeliner - Now this is my absolute favourite liquid eyeliner and it has been since I was about 15. I honestly never wear any other liquid liner and have never found one I get one with as well as this one. I already featured this product in my current favourites post here back in May, and still love it just as much. It lasts me all day, it's so easy to apply and makes doing cat eyes so simple. It's so afforable which is just the cherry on the top of the cake, and am yet to find a liquid eyeliner that I enjoy more than this one.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Now if you read my blog, you'll know I own three of these Soft Matte Lip Creams and I really love them. They're so comfortable on the lips and are not at all drying like other matte lip products. They leave my lips feeling so smooth and soft, and the colours look great and last all day. The price of these are ridiculously affordable, so I find myself picking up more of these every time I see them.

Let me know what your highstreet favourites are, or if you're loving any of the products I've mentioned. Thank you so much fo reading my post, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner

This is one of those "bloggers made me buy it" posts. I had seen quite a lot of positive reviews on OGX shampoos and conditioners, as well as a lot of people talking about coconut milk and using it in your hair. I therefore decided to put the two together and bought the OGX Coconut Milk shampoo and conditioner. I was really excited to try these products out as I really love any hair products that give your hair extra strength as mines is very weak and breaks easily. After using these products for a while now, I can say they did not disappoint.

I first of all have to say how much I love the packaging. I really like the shape of the bottles, and there is a lot in there which I'm hoping will last me a while. I was really excited about this particular range of the OGX hair products as I love the smell of coconut, and that's one of the things I love about these. They leave your hair smelling amazing, yet the coconut fragrance isn't too overpowering. They're also very affordable which is great. I got them in a deal that made them even cheaper which I'm really happy about, as hair products are something you need to repurchase quite a lot so I tend to stick to more affordable brands.

This range has been designed to nourish your hair, while adding strength and elasticity, as well as hydration and balance. After using the two products combined for quite a few weeks now, I can safely say this is definitely true. I've found myself with less split ends and breakages than I did before, which I'm really happy about as I've previously suffered quite badly with these. I've found my hair feeling much softer and smoother after I wash it which is great. It's also looking much healthier and much less dry, which is something else my hair suffered badly from. I also find it much easier to blow dry and style my hair after it's been washed with these products, and brushing my hair through when it's still wet is so much smoother than before.

My only downsides to these products, which are really small, are that it did take quite a while to lather with the water in my hair - it takes quite a bit of product to do so. This is something I can easily look past, of course. I really like all the qualities of the shampoo and conditioner, but just wish it would help to thicken my hair as well - that would create my dream hair products.  I overall really enjoy these products - the packagings great, they smell amazing, they've left my hair stonger and more hydrated and it's looking much softer and smoother than it did before. I'm really happy with these, and am planning on purchasing more products from the OGX range in the future.

Let me know if you use the OGX Coconut Milk shampoo and conditioner, or any other products in the other OGX ranges. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Mini Lush Haul

Lush is a shop I absolutely love but never seem to visit as much as I would like to. I find a lot of their products, especially their bath bombs, really don't react well with my sensitive skin and leave me with a bit of a rash. That's why I decided, on my most recent visit to the shop, to pick up a few different products I'd never tried from Lush before but had heard great things about, that would hopefully not react as badly with my skin.

Sea Spray Hair Mist - Lush's Sea Spray Hair Mist was something I'd heard a lot of people talking about who all seemed to really love it. I really liked the idea of it, as I have very dry hair and needed something to brighten it up, as well as a product that could liften my hair during the day. I do have to say it's not Lush's cheapest product, but I was really intrigued and excited to give it a go. The one thing I have to say about this is that it has a very strong sea salt smell - duh. Some people seem to really like this smell, but I have to be honest - I don't. I feel like you can smell it all day after you use it, so I find myself trying to cover the smell with body sprays and perfumes which is bad, I know. As a product though, I do really like it. I find it keeping my hair very voluminous over the course of the day and holds it in place very well. It's also good to give your hair a bit of a boost when you need it throughout the day. I've found myself using this quite a lot since I got it as it works really well and has been leaving my hair looking great, especially when my hair's been curly. As a product, I do really like this, if only it didn't smell so strongly of sea salt.

Mask of Magnaminty - Now this is one of those 'bloggers made me buy this' products. I had seen a lot of bloggers posting reviews on this face mask, and all the ones I've read so far have been really positive. That's why, on my latest trip to Lush, I knew I just had to pick this up. I went for the smaller size out of the two that were available, just incase I wasn't a fan. This product really appealed to me due to the fact it's supposed to prevent and tame any skin outbreaks, and since I have very spot prone skin, this seemed very suited to me. It can be used on both your face and back which I think is a really smart idea, as I know quite a few people have have bad outbreaks on the top of their backs. It's a peppermint mask which smells absolutely amazing, and I find myself wanting to eat this when I smell it - I obviously don't eat it though. I've found this mask has worked really well for my skin. I've seen such a reduction in outbreaks on my face if I use this once a week, which I'm really happy with. I have noticed though, as I have really sensitive skin, I can't use this more than once a week or it causes my skin to be quite aggrivated. I also need to make sure I remove it after about 5 minutes as well, but that's definitely something I can live with. I really enjoy using this mask and it's worked wonders for my face, so this gets a massive thumbs up from me.

I've now restored my love for Lush and will definitely be back in soon to buy more stuff. Let me know what Lush products I could use with very sensitive skin and what your opinions are of the Sea Spray and Mask of Magnaminty. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a great day!

Packing Your Holiday Makeup Bag

It's finally summer time which means, for many of us, holiday time. And what comes along with going on holiday? Packing. I know that picking what to put in your suitcase can be fun, but packing to go on holiday can be such a chore. And along with packing your suitcase is packing your holiday makeup bag. Knowing what to bring and what to leave behind can be tricky - you don't want to leave your favourite foundation at home then want to wear it one day. Todays post is my tips for packing your holiday makeup bag. I know a lot of people will want to take all their makeup on holiday with them, but these are a few ways you can make more room in your suitcase.

Don't pick a bulky bag
The worst thing you can do is pick a massive makeup bag that takes up half the room in your suitcase even though it's only half filled. I have a separate bag I take on holiday with me rather than my normal make up bag as it's much thinner and smaller, so fits much easier in my suitcase. This can just make your life so much easier, especially if you're going somewhere hot and your bag is already full of clothes and beach towels.

Don't take easily openable/breakable products
Taking your favourite products on holiday with you, only to find they've spilled all over the inside of your makeup bag is a horror no one should ever have to face. If you've got products with a flimsy lid or made of glass, this can sometimes go horribly wrong (not always of course). If you own any of these products and desperately need them in your makeup bag, I'd recommend pouring them into one of the travel size plastic bottles. Not only does this reduce the risk of spillages but creates more room in the bag. Alternatively, if you aren't able to do this you could just put the product into a platic bag to prevent it spilling on anything else.

Only pick what you need
If you've only got a small makeup bag or just want more room in your suitcase, it can be hard not being able to take all your makeup with you. At this point, you really need to decide what you need and what you don't. I'd recommend only taking 2 or 3 lipsticks in various colours to suit different looks, as you don't really need your whole lipstick collection on holiday with you, even though you wish you did. If you're a eyeshadow palette fan like myself, only take your favourite one with you to make more room. Also taking less base products on a warm holiday not only creates space but can help improve your skin.

Pick products with SPF
If you're stuggling to pick between two foundations, I'd always suggest picking one that contains SPF. I even go out and buy a foundation with SPF in it for when I'm going on holiday or spending time in the sun. This is great for going out in the evening, when you can sometimes forget about the sun still being out. It of course does not compare to sun cream which you should always wear, but it can be a big bonus for your skin protection on holiday.

Hopefully these tips will help you out when you're packing your holiday makeup bag this summer. Let me know if you have any tips of your own to make packing that bit easier. Thank you so much for readig my post, and I hope if you are going on holiday this summer you have a great time!

Morphe 35D Palette: Review

So back in May, I posted about how I bought the Morphe 35D palette which I was super excited about. I shared my first impressions in a blog post here and have now being using this palette for over a month. I thought it was now about time that I shared my honest opinions on this product and I have to say, I've really been loving it.

I've been using this palette almost every day, as I find it to be really diverse and it has a very wide variety of shades included. It has shades that would be perfect for just everyday, and ones that you could use for going out. It contains both matte and shimmer shades which I love, as I normally choose matte shades for everyday and shimmer shades for going out and having a palette that contains both is perfect. They are also very pigmented which I love, and I find them to last a really long time. I pair them with my Urban Decay eye primer potion and the De Slick setting spray, and I find they stay in place all day. As a palette, it's also very affordable, which is a massive bonus considering each one contains 35 different shades. This would be the perfect palette for someone looking for a lot of shades for a good, affordable price.

I've really been enjoying the bottom row that contains a lot more darker shades. I really like the shimmery black and gold shadows which can be paired to create the perfect smokey eye. The grey shades are also really beautiful, and a lot can go a long way with these. This palette has definitely helped me try a lot more darker and neautral looks, which I've been really enjoying.

These two shades have got to be the shades I've used the most out of the palette. One's a rose gold shade while the others a dusty pink, and I usually pair them both together. This creates a beautiful look that can be used for both during the day and for going out at night. I also like to use the dusty pink shade on it's own over my whole bottom lid, or used as the base for a smokey eye. If you read my last post on my NYX and Kiko Milano haul, you'll see I bought a dark pink Kiko Milano eyeshadow in shade 63, which I've found pairs perfectly with these two shades.

There are a few shades on the palette I haven't tried yet, which I'm not too surprised about. I haven't used any of the green or blue shades because, to be honest, they're not something I'd really be comfortable wearing. I don't normally choose bold shades and I even said in my first impressions post that I'd be surprised if I chose to wear any of the green shades. There are some purple ones I also haven't wore yet, but some of them can be quite subtle and I'm really enjoying wearing those.

Overall, I've really been loving this palette. The shades are beautifully pigmented and last really well, and the palette contains such a diverse range of shades meaning there's something in it for everybody. The affordability of it is also a massive bonus for me, and it's such great value for money. I'm definitely looking to buy another one of the Morphe palettes and would recommend this product to anyone in the market for some new shadows.

Let me know if you've tried this palette and what your opinions on it are, or if you have any other Morphe palettes you would recommend. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a great day!

See you guys soon x

NYX and Kiko Milano Haul

I recently bought myself some lip products from NYX that I absolutely loved which I feautured in my NYX lip haul post, so decided I wanted to buy some more. If you read my post, you'll know that I wanted to find a counter rather than buying the products online so I could swatch them first. My local Boots doesn't have a counter, but one opened up at the Glasgow Fort on Tuesday so I decided to go there. I originally wanted to buy the Liquid Suede lipstick in Sandstorm, but it was out of stock when I got there (gutter), so I picked up some other lip products instead. I also saw they had a Kiko Milano store which I had never checked out before, and found myself picking up two new eyeshadows while I was there.

Lip Lingerie in Honeymoon - The NYX Lip Lingerie's are a liquid lipstick I'd heard quite a few good things about so really wanted to try one. I picked mine up in the shade Honeymoon, as I already have quite a few brown/nude liquid lipsticks and this one was least similar to any I already own. I find the NYX liquid lipsticks to be very soft and creamy and this one's no exception. It feels very comfortable to wear and I don't find it to be drying at all. It also doesn't dry immediately, so you're able to easily apply more than one layer without it being blatantly obvious where one layer ends and the other begins. I also really like this shade as it's a lot darker than I expected, and can look almost black when I apply a few layers. It's also very durable, and took a lot of scrubbing to get it off my lips. My only issue with this is the applicator, which I've seen a lot of people really enjoying. It's flat rather than being curved to your lip shape which I find a bit annoying, but it's definitely something I can look past since this product is actually really good.

Liquid Suede in Cherry Skies - I have to say that the Liquid Suede line is something that's really been intriguing me the past few weeks. It contains some really bold colours, some of which I'd love to try but I'm just not brave enough, such as Stone Fox, Amethyst and Orange County. As I said, I originally wanted to try Sandstorm but it was out of stock when I got there, so played it safe with the dark red shade Cherry Skies. I own a lot of red lipsticks but I actually don't own any red liquid lipsticks, so I was excited to try this out. At first, I was a bit on the fence about this product. It's extremely pigmented and I seemed to keep using too much and having to start over - a small amount is all you need. It's also very liquidy - duh - when you apply it, so it can run quite easily. It also has the same applicator as the Lip Lingeries, but I'm sure I'll eventually get over my dislike of it. As a shade, Cherry Skies is a really gorgeous deep red colour which I absolutely love and am really happy with. When it dries, it looks really beautiful and elegant. I really like this product but the consistency of it isn't great - I ended up with it all over my hands and teeth (don't even ask me how).

Soft Matte Lip Cream in Sydney - If you read my previous NYX lip haul, you'll know I already purchased two of these lip creams in Cannes and Milan. I really enjoyed them and found them to be so comfortable on my lips, so decided to pick one up in the shade Sydney. I'm not normally a pink lipstick fan, and this shade is a very light pink, but saw people wearing it and thought it looked really nice. And I have to say, I absolutely love it. The consistency of these are gorgeous and it feels so creamy and smooth on the lips. The shade is absolutely beautiful, and is something I never thought I'd enjoy but I really do. The applicator on this is also so much easier for me to use as it's slighly curved on the edge. These are fast becoming some of my favourite lip products considering how affordable they are, and I'm definitely planning on buying some more.

High Pigment Wet And Dry Eye Shadow in 63 - When I visited the Kiko Milano store, these High Pigment Eye Shadows really stood out to me. I have so many palettes I wear religously and don't often buy eye shadows individually, but I really loved the look of these shades. The shade 63 is a pearly rosewood pink colour that has a slight shimmer to it. I haven't actually got round to trying these out yet, but they look absolutely gorgeous. I decided to pick up this one as I realised I didn't have a lot of pink or peach shades in my collection, and after buying the Soft Matte Lip Cream, I wanted to pair it with a pink eye look. I really liked the idea of these and how durable they're stated as being, so I'm very excited to give them a go.

High Pigment Wet And Dry Eyeshadow in 37 - The other shade I decided to pick up was 37, which is a pearly rose gold shade. This also has a slight shimmer to it and looks absolutely gorgeous. This one is slightly peachy with shimmers of gold through it which really intrigued me. I'm really excited to pair these two shades together, as well as using this shade on it's own or as a base with other shades. I will be posting a review of these shadows soon after I've tried them out, so keep your eyes pealed for that post.

I'm really happy with what I picked up on my shopping trip, and it was all really affordable. I'm really happy with they NYX products I bought and am really excited to try the Kiko Milano eye shadows. Let me know if you've tried out any of the products I've mentioned and what your opinions on them are. Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope you all have a great day!
