1. Drink a glass of water
2. Try something new
3. Take time for yourself
4. Exercise
Now I know that for some people exercising every day can seem like such a chore, but I've found that changing your mode of exercise can make it more enjoyable. Going to the gym every day can be good for some people, but it's definitely not for me. I like to make exercise fun, so would rather do some zumba, dancing, or just some cardio in my living room. I also prefer easier ways of exercising, like going out a jog or taking my dog a walk, or even going on to Youtube and finding 10 minute exercise routines, which I find super fun and easy. They're also quick to do, which is perfect if you have a busy schedule and don't have a lot of free time to exercise. Exercise can be really enjoyable if you just tailor it to suit you.
5. Laugh
They do say that laughter is the best medicine. I think that a bit of fun and laughter can make your day seem so much better without you even realising it. Whether you're laughing with your friends and family or watching a particularly funny TV show, laughing has been proven to subconsciously perk up your mood. I always find that I turn to comedies when I'm feeling a bit down, and that laughing does make my day feel so much better. This may not work for everyone but I know that it definitely works for me.
I challenge you to try do these 5 things every day, even for a week, and see how it helps you. Some of you may already do all of these daily and find it suits you, while for others it may not help at all, but they're all very easy and achievable to do. I find that they really help my mood and give me something to focus on every day. You can even class this as being the new thing you're trying today, so number 2's already ticked off.
Let me know if you try to do all 5 of these every day, or if you already do, and how it works for you. I hope you've all enjoyed reading these, and I hope the rest of your day is as beautiful as you are!

I love this post! Such simple things and yet things I'm guilty of not doing every day. I definitely need to start taking time for myself, and I love the idea of trying something new everyday. :) xx

Exactly, they're so simple to do but we always forget :) x
DeleteI love this post. I particularly loved how you approached exercise and focused on the enjoyment factor. I walk to and from work every day but I know it's not really enough so I will try to increase it. Also you're so right that a few of these could definitely be combined so it's not that hard to do.
